Welcome to Boomer Spirituality. This site is designed to help you learn about the boomer generation.  Born from 1946 to 1964, the boomers quest to find meaning and purpose in life had its beginnings in the crucible of the cultural shifts of the 1960s and 1970s. As boomers move into the second half of life, the values discovered in their youth will guide their future.  The spiritual values explored in the book, Boomer Spirituality: Seven Values for the Second Half of Life. include Brokenness, Loneliness, Rootlessness, Self-Seeking, Godliness, Supernaturalism, and Wholeness.

Craig Kennet Miller is the Director of Congregational Development at Discipleship Ministries with the United Methodist Church. He is the author of iKids: Parenting in the Digital Age and Boomer Spirituality: Seven Values for the Second Half of Life.  He is the creator of TeamWorks a set of guidebooks for developing church leaders.  He is a United Methodist pastor and has a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
